Ophthalmology opening - Abingdon, VA Located 40m to Kingsport Interested parties must be ready to embrace a healthy mix of significant ocular pathology, various types of ocular surgery and primary eye care Position Details - Full-time, permanent- Private practice- Rapidly growing Comprehensive Eye Care practice headquartered in Abingdon, Virginia, with additional offices in Marion, Bristol and Clintwood, Virginia. - Group consists of three ophthalmologists (2 general and one glaucoma specialist) and five optometrists engaged in delivering Critical Eye Care to a burgeoning population with varied pathology. - This is a position for a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist or a Sub-Specialist. - Most surgery is performed in a local, physician owned, multi-specialty ASC. - Group believes in staying on the leading edge of patient care so that they can serve their community, as they are a vital part of providing the residents of this region with access to outstanding vision and surgical care. - Committed to providing a work environment where individuals are trained and developed in the treatment of eyes creating a practice where both patients and team members are proud to belong.
