Primary Responsibility : Manage the daily maintenance activities in a warehouse. Plan and coordinate activities of refrigeration, maintenance and forklift associates. Maintain safe, effective and functional facilities by directing installation, maintenance, and repair of machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems for refrigerated warehouse. What You'll Do : o
Identifies current and future maintenance requirements. o
Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual maintenance budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. o
Ensures operations productivity by determining work priorities and scheduling repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment. o
Designs, implements, and modifies preventive maintenance programs by reviewing production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics; inspecting operating machines, equipment, and systems for conformance with operational standards. o
Complies with all OSHA regulations and PSM requirements. What Experience and Education You Need : o
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED). o
Completion of all eight (8) RETA courses. o
HAZMAT certification. o
Five to eight years in warehouse maintenance management experience. o
3 years general supervisory/management experience. What Could Set You Apart : o

Strong interpersonal skills and judgment in communicating with staff. o
Willingness to develop a mentoring relationship in order to contribute experience, skills, and wisdom to subordinate employees for their development. o
Ability to interpret HR regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. o
Frequently works overtime, evenings, or weekends in order to complete work or to attend meetings Physical Requirements : o
Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, with frequent interruptions o
Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, and reaching, or bending o
Requires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work o
Talking, hearing, and seeing are important elements of completing assigned tasks o
May require travel by automobile and airplane up for business o
May require a visit facility operations in temperatures at or below freezing o
May carry loads related to travel and occasionally lifts, carries, positions, or moves objects weighing up to 20 pounds o
Requires the use of various electronic tools o
Requires the ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions: must partner with colleagues without exhibiting behavioral extremes o
