Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Big Data Engineer.
 
Position Type: Full-time (Contract)
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Charlotte, NC 28202 (Hybrid)
 
As a Big Data Engineer, you will:
 
  • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
  • Review and analyse complex multi-faceted larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function policies procedures and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
 
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong relational database knowledge.
  • Understanding of relational database vs big data concepts.
  • Python
  • Spark SQL
  • Unix Shell Scripting
  • Hadoop
  • MapR Hortonworks/Cloudera.
  • OpenShift/Kubernetes.
  • Cloud Experience nice to have GCP AWS etc.
  • S3 experience nice to have.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Salary Range*:  $65 to $75 Per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
