Job Overview:

Linde U.S. Gases is currently seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician based in Lyndora/Butler, PA. This is a key role that will be primarily responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of an Air Separation Plant located in Butler, PA that supplies Cleveland Cliffs entire operation. This is a challenging and rewarding assignment that requires sound technical abilities in instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems with training provided in site-specific applications.

The Electrical & Instrumentation Technicianmust demonstrate initiative in handling issues, be self-motivated, dependable, and be part of a team environment of four personnel including an onsite supervisor and two operation technicians. In addition, this role will at times require overtime, holiday, after hours work, and plant turnaround support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, inspection, calibration, and repairs of plant instrumentation and electrical systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot industrial instruments and analyzers including transmitters, PLC systems, meters, and automatic valves.
