Ambercare Homecare is looking for Speech Language Pathologist to come join our rapidly growing team in Albuquerque, NM.We offer:Great culture and team atmosphereComprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, disability)401(k) retirement plan with a generous company matchGenerous time off accrualsPaid holidaysMileage reimbursementTuition ReimbursementEmployee Referral Program Merit IncreasesEmployee Discount ProgramsWork/life balanceWhat You’ll Do:Conducts appropriate evaluations, assesses home environment (as appropriate), identifies equipment needs relative to speech/language function.Identifies functional speech defects and establishes a plan of care to improve patient’s function.Administer diagnostic speech and language evaluations and some basic, informal audio logical assessment in accordance with the plan of careRecommends communication devices/aids as indicated.Prepare a report of each client’s diagnostic evaluation and make recommendationsAdvise, consult and teach appropriate procedures and supportive activities to clients, family members, and other agency staffProvide direct speech service to clients under a provider’s plan of care. Records and reports to the provider the client’s response to therapyQualifications:Possess certification of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech Language Hearing Association Licensed as a speech therapist in the state in which practicingAt least one (1) year of acute care setting or equivalent experience Possess knowledge of principles and practices of speech therapyComplies and maintains current CPR certification.Ability to make home visits and provide nursing care in the home environmentMust have reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate automobile insuranceText 6908 to 505-806-1865 to apply#ACHHEmployee wellbeing is top priority at Addus Homecare, and we're thrilled to announce our recognition as the top healthcare company on Indeed's 2024 Top 100 Work Wellbeing Index.
