A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Sanitation & Custodial Services Technician.
 
Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 3 months
Location: Syracuse, NY
 
As a Sanitation & Custodial Services Technician you will:
  • Sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning windows; cleaning restrooms and fixtures; cleaning and maintaining lunch and break rooms.
  • Stripping and waxing tiled floors as required, vacuums, buffs and waxes floors.
  • Replacing light bulbs as needed.
  • Cleaning offices, including dusting desks and other areas.
  • Disposing of trash and operate trash compactor; disposes of cardboard and operate cardboard bailer.
  • Assisting in moving furniture as required or requested.
  • Performing external facility work as required or requested, to include lawn work and snow removal. Ensures sidewalks are kept clear and snow melt is placed along the walkways to keep it safe for anyone who enters or leaves the building.
  • Performing pest control activities as required or requested.
  • Awareness/knowledge of cGMP standards and their impact on the plant as well as individual departments.
 
The ideal candidate will have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; one or more years previous work experience in a hospital or manufacturing environment or doing sanitation/custodial work.
  • Experience working in a production environment, ideally in a light-industrial setting.
  • Knowledge and skill in operating various sanitation/custodial equipment.
  • Knowledge of sanitation procedures preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations preferred.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $16.00 $18.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
