Jack Link's Protein Snacks family of brands includes Jack Link's, Lorissa's Kitchen, World Kitchens Jerky, Bifi and Peperami.Job DescriptionThis position is based in Minneapolis, MN. The Project Manager role is responsible for end-to-end ownership on project performance through; planning, organizing, leading and communicating activities within our cross-functional team to achieve the desired outcome.  Success will encompass projects ending on-time and within scope, while ensuring risks are mitigated and properly communicated/escalated across our organization.  The majority of the work will focus on new product development with additional areas being reformulation and strategic corporate projects.  This is not an IT Project Manager role.The responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:Project Timeline Management Build project timelines by identifying sequence of activities, task durations, resource availability, and schedule constraints and requirements.Manage project timelines and adjust as needed to hit product launch datesManage project team resourcesManage & mitigate project riskEnsure project team task work accountabilityFacilitate work within the project and portfolio management software solution, SmartsheetEnsure the validity of data housed inside of the portfolioCommunication & CollaborationCommunicate project status & updates to project team, stakeholders, and leadership through effective communication methodsAdminister projects within the JL Stage Gate processesOrganize & lead effective cross functional team meetingsPartner with Brand Business Leads on product commercialization effortsWork with cross-functional teams to identify roadblocks in processes and mitigate the associated bottlenecks or delays in product lifecycle timingAct as a consultant related to timing, process, and optimization of our internal tools for various internal teams and organizational initiativesContinuous Improvement & TrainingTrain new cross functional team members on current PMO processesIdentify and improve PMO organizational processesConsistently keep training materials, walkthroughs, and templates updated to the current optimal state based on evolving business needs QualificationsRequired Education: Bachelor s Degree in project management, business, operations, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experienceRequired Skills and Experience:    5 years of project management experience working in a cross-functional business environment, preferably for a manufacturer of consumer packaged goodsPMP, CAPM or other project management certification preferredExperience working with the project management platform Smartsheet preferredDemonstrated ability to drive change / process improvementSelf-starter, action oriented with the ability to think and respond quickly to changeAbility to be flexible as required and communicate cross functionally with internal partnersThrives in a fast paced energetic and entrepreneurial environmentAbility to manage multiple tasks at one timePrevious leadership of end-to-end projects and execution strategies and methodsPrevious cross-functional experience working between multiple departmentsAbility to manage and execute complex projects in many different stages and work within ambiguityStrong analytical decision-making, influence and communication skillsExperience building strong relationships and working with a range of levels in an organizationDemonstrated leadership, problem solving, presentation, and team member motivational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and employeesJACK LINK S CORE VALUES:Company values: Be Real, Speed Matters, Stewardship, Relationship Driven, Self-Discipline, and Show Awesome Character.Additional InformationEqual Employment Opportunity EmployerWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation and gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.E-VerifyWe provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each new employee s Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
