Our company s measurable growth is in no small part due to our team members in North Carolina, Arkansas, Illinois, and Missouri, who each have a seat at the table to contribute to our successPosition Summary:This individual will be responsible for the operating, setup, startup/shut down, paperwork,SCOUT transactions and the daily running of12K blenderin the formulation department.Essential Duties, Functions and responsibilities:Process product using tools and equipment providedFollows all work safety policies and guidelinesObserves equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and /or safety issues/concernsAdheres to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) product standards and guidelinesMaintains a clean and organized areaPerforms other duties as assignedAccountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hoursMaintain acceptable times for changeovers on linesMaintain that team members are rotating positions as required for Ergonomic reasonsSet up machines and trouble shoot issuesSet up and maintain correct code datesResponsible for correct bags for specific UPCMaintain minimal downtimeMaintain accurate and legible paperworkComplete daily line paperworkResponsible for batching meat correctly and putting into OTISResponsible for labeling totes correctly and accuratelyKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to troubleshoot issues that occur on the machineAbility to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructionsMust be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United StatesMust pass a background check, drug screenMust be able to read and writeNeed to be familiar in SPC, HACCP, GMP S SSOP S and USDAComputer skills with Excel, PowerPoint and WordProduct knowledge and process knowledgeAbility to trouble shoot minor issues of product or machineNeed to LOTO trained to lock equipment out as neededBe familiar with UPC, bags, products and boxesBe walkie certifiedPhysical Requirements:Constant standing and walking (8 hours or more per day)Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling (up to and including 50lbs or more)Reaching overheadReaching below kneesAbility to multitaskCompleting required paperwork in timely mannerUsing material handling equipment as neededPushing meat through injectorBreakdown combos for recycleWorking Conditions/Department Description:Work in damp and cold environment as neededWork with loud and noisy machinery as neededWork in dusty environment when using spice as neededWork in congested areas as neededThe statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of what is required of personnel so classified.
