Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:o Receives material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately and promptly.o Verifies the quantity and description of materials by checking merchandise against the packing list.o Accurately place materials on shelves, in racks, or other designated storage areas in an orderly and timely manner.o Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to customers.o Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area.o Abiding to allergen program.o Completing all tasks required by shipping and receiving of raw ingredients and finished product.o Following GMP s, SOP s, food safety, FDA, and OSHA procedures.o No eating food/chewing gum/drinking in warehouse.o Reframe from using earpiece device while operating fork lift.o Labeling all raw ingredients and finished products.o Preparing correct ingredients for pre-weigh ups and/or blenders.Competency:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfullyCommunication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills;Quality Management - Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.Judgment - Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; Makes timely decisions.Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.Education/Experience:High school diploma; or one to two years related experience and/or training is strongly preferred.Language Ability:Must speak English fluently. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.Math Ability:Ability to calculate basic mathematics with and without a calculator such as adding and subtractingReasoning Ability:Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software.Certificates and Licenses:Standup Forklift certification is required for this position. Prior experience is not required; however, it is strongly preferred.Work Environment:Warehouse and Office environment. The warehouse is standard non-climate controlled. Approximately 90% of time is spent in the warehouse. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs at a time (approx. weight of a full case of product).***Our dock is open M-F, 7am-5pm. To start, the candidate will work our normal production hours (M-Th/7:00-5:30) with the possibility to work Fridays. During our busy season (typically August-January) everyone works M-F.***
