RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Echocardiographer is responsible for performing Transthoracic echocardiograms setting up and assisting with Transesophageal Echocardiograms and under the direction of a trained echocardiographer setting up and performing exercise and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms to the standards set forth by the American Society of Echocardiography.
  • Skills: RDCS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International or completion of RDCS/RCS requirements within 12 months of employment is required.
  • One to three years’ experience as a cardiac sonographer is required. Allied Health degree and successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved School of Ultrasound Technology or Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent education
  • This position is a travel contract, and the hourly rate posted includes the daily housing stipend and meal stipend. Applicants within 60 miles of the facility are considered locals and are not eligible for stipends.
