Our work depends on Software Developer Advisor joining our team to support Life Cycle Sustainment and modernization of the All-Weapon Information System (AWIS).HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT● Required Skills to primarily be .NET and Oracle, researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software● Works with a diverse, agile, distributed development team to achieve the common goal of modernizing the AWIS system to support Naval squadrons and other users/stakeholders.● Works remotely utilizing the Government's systems for collaboration, development, testing, uploading, storing, and deploying solutions.● Participates in the modernization of the AWIS solution that will greatly improve Naval squadron weapons management and reporting.● Will act as a senior developer in a Key role supporting the Govt customer, and be available to mentor fellow GDIT developers.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:● Education: Bechelors Degree, preferrably in a STEM field● Required Experience: 7+ years of related experience● Required Technical Skills: .NET, .NET Core/MVC, Oracle, SQL Server, Visual Basic, Visual Studio, GitHub, Agile/SCRUM● Security Clearance Level: SECRET CLEARANCE TO START● Required Skills and Abilities: Communication, use-case/problem statement interpretation● Preferred Skills: Time Management, Conflict Resolution● Location: Remote● US Citizenship RequiredGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:● 401K with company match● Comprehensive health and wellness packages● Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career● Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications● Cutting-edge technology you can learn from● Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysThe likely salary range for this position is $116,979 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
