Our EMEA team is committed to continuing its impressive EMEA expansion, one bite at a time, and becoming the regional leader in branded protein snacks.Job DescriptionObjectiveReporting to the FP&A Manager within the Finance team, based at the EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam, the Junior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis functions within the organization. A key player in the monthly close and reporting processes, this role involves collaborating with various departments to gather financial data, analyze performance, create and maintain financial reports, and contribute to the development of budgeting and forecasting processes.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & AnalysisAssist the FP&A Manager in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring all key dates & deadlines are respectedAnalyse and interpret financial data to provide insights into business performanceConduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-makingEvaluate financial performance and prepare reports for managementIdentify areas of improvement and provide actionable recommendationsBudgeting & ForecastingWork closely with FP&A Manager to create detailed budget models per department and main area of spend, focusing on Marketing spendMonitor and track budget performance against actual results, identify and analyse variances providing explanations for budget deviationsSupport the preparation of the monthly P&L forecastReporting & Period CloseAssist the FP&A Manager in the monthly P&L close, review adjustments and deviationsPrepare deck and presentations for the Leadership team ensuring all period close deadlines are metEnsure accuracy and completeness of financial data in reportsQualificationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related fieldA minimum of 1-2 years
