Candidates must be available to work either shift.Compensation: Starting at $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications Responsibilities: What does my day look like as a Behavior Technician (BT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):ABA therapists work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans to address communication, behavior, feeding, ADLs, and social skills.The ABA therapist / Registered Behavior Technician collects and records data to monitor the progress of a treatment plan and works in collaboration with the clinical supervisor to update the treatment plan as necessaryIf you are in this field, you know sometimes 'it takes a village', and we strive to provide that support.  Qualifications: Attributes and qualifications needed to be successful in this role:Patience, compassion and the desire to help children with autism achieve their goalsGenuine desire to learn about Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) TherapyAbility to work independently and collaborate with othersHigh School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree (completed or in progress) preferred6+ months experience working with children preferredMust have valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportationAll ABA therapists that are not RBT certified will be required to complete the RBT coursework and pass the RBT exam within 90 days of employment (ask how we support you with this)Verbal Beginnings’ personnel policies, procedures, and practices prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, religious creed, disability, ancestry, national origin, age, or sex.
