The CST II's primary function is to provide day to day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) & Special Access Program (SAP) construction efforts.HOW A SECURITY OFFICER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACTAssesses, identifies and communications recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems.Identifies threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks.Drafts security incident reports and briefs government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders.Manages uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; assigns, trains, briefs site security duties and ensures timely reporting of security incidents to site lead.Follow and enforce customers’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security RepresentativeShall conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces.Will photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure spaces and document all steps in order to support final accreditation packets.Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight of team members.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Experience3+ years related experienceKnowledgeable on ICD 705 (SCIF compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements) desiredSAP experience requiredEducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years)Experience Education EquivalenciesSecurity Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience.Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience.Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 years.CertificationComplete the DoD SAPCO approved SAPNP trainingSecurity ClearanceTS/SCIWillingness to sit for a CI polygraphGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:401K with company matchComprehensive health and wellness packagesInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsCutting-edge technology you can learn fromRest and recharge with extra paid vacation and holidays#AirforceSAPOpportunities #DefenseOCONUSThe likely salary range for this position is $79,475 - $107,525. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
