Here, you will make an impact by:Defining customer requirements and identify problem areas, service failures, and improvement opportunities to support current and future customer/business needsDesigning supply chain solutions that may include the following areas: Inventory/Buffer management, Material Flow, Capacity Analysis, Information Flow and IT SystemsDeveloping plans to implement supply chain solutions that will achieve measurable business resultsAssembling and leading project teams to implement supply chain solutions, report progress on supply chain process improvement to plant management Establishing a close working relationship with business unit management; recommending and influencing business unit supply chain activitiesBecoming the resident expert in use and application of existing/new planning tools and make recommendations to the plant on their applicationSupporting new planning tool implementations in the plantEstablishing measurement and tracking systems to monitor and report supply chain performance, including service attainment, supply chain speed/inventory turns, inventory and buffer levels, waste/yield, cycle times, forecast accuracy/manufacturing attainment, transportation time and cost, etc.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in Supply Chain Management, Production Operations Management, Engineering or related field (completed and verified prior to start) AND Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing supply chain in a private, public, government or military environment. ​ORHigh School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution AND Nine (9) years of experience in manufacturing supply chain in a private, public, government or military environment. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master's degree in business, Engineering or Supply Chain from an accredited institutionNine (9) years of experience in manufacturing supply chain in a private, public, government or military environment APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) CPIM certificationExperience leading cross functional project teams implementing supply chain solutionsStrong ERP background using SAP/i2 Factory Planner/i2 Supply Chain Planner/ or similar systemExperience working and negotiating with suppliers Strong analytical skills, able to perform data analysis with mass data setsStrong problem-solving and communications skillsWork location: Onsite in Monrovia, CATravel: May include up to 5% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being Solventum offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
