Unit Description: With your leadership excellence, you’re ready to move up to the next level Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at Nebraska Medicine a 600 bed acute care hospital spanning multiple buildings, including world renowned cancer center located in Omaha, Nebraska. Position will report to General Manager and ideal candidate will: Have responsibility in overseeing the Diet Office that is accountable for Dietary Assistants intaking menu requestsActively participate in client Dietetic Internship selection and training program Assist in managing quality assurance and performance improvement that is utilized for tracking patient feedback and service recoveryOversee compliance with on-site daycares regarding their food regulations and menu planningAssess and conduct nutrition education and assessments as needed at an off-site location for patients Have strong communication skills and work closely in a multidisciplinary team settingAssist General Manager in additional projects and tasks as neededLicensed in Nebraska Nebraska Medical Center is the state’s largest hospital and for several consecutive years has been awarded best in state by U.S. News & World Report, listed as one of the 100 greatest hospitals in America by Becker's Hospital Review and included in Forbes best in state employers. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
