The unit has a focus on surgical conditions including urology procedures, major and minor abdominal surgeries, ENT, bariatric and pulmonary surgeries, peripheral vascular procedures as well as other general surgical post-op needs. The unit has 8 telemetry beds for patients requiring cardiac monitoring. It is a fast-paced environment that you will never find boring. The RN provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to Corewell Health policies and procedures and recognizes the impact of nursing care and patient/family partnerships on patient outcomes.
