Establish high-performance standards in housekeeping, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), American Institute of Baking (AIB), International Food Standard (IFS), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements. Manages daily production requirements to consistently meet customer expectations. Evaluate team performance efficiencies and coordinate necessary resources. Coaches, teaches, coordinates, and evaluates programs for team members to develop skills advantageous to the company's needs and goals. Able to manage some initial employee relation matters and conflict Participates as a key member of the plant leadership. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Production Manager. Adhere to the Food Defense and Security functions within the facility.What Does It Take to be a Production Supervisor at Dawn Foods?
High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree 2 years of experience in manufacturing is required. Food Industry experience preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of computers required. Experience with Microsoft Office. Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize. Good written and verbal communication skills required. Attention to detail and accuracy. Must be mature and have the ability to resolve issues in a timely, organized, and cost-efficient manner. Proactive, self-directed independent worker with self-confidence.Organizational RelationshipsReports to: Operations ManagerSupervises: Production Team MembersWorks with: All other departmentsPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
