LHH is seeking an experienced commercial litigation paralegal for our client in West Palm Beach office. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in handling complex commercial litigation cases. This role involves assisting with case preparation, legal research, document management, drafting pleadings, and ensuring compliance with court procedures and deadlines. The paralegal will collaborate with internal teams and clients to manage case files and assist in trial preparation. This position offers a hybrid remote schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Assist attorneys in managing all aspects of commercial litigation cases, including document organization, case tracking, and deadline management.

  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, precedents, and case law to support litigation strategies and arguments.

  • Document Drafting: Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal correspondence under attorney supervision.

  • Discovery Support: Assist with the discovery process, including preparing and reviewing discovery documents, coordinating depositions, and organizing exhibits.

  • Court Filings: Prepare and file court documents, including motions, briefs, and other filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court rules and deadlines.

  • Trial Preparation: Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing witness lists, preparing trial binders, and coordinating with experts and witnesses.

  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts to gather information, coordinate case logistics, and provide status updates.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent work experience. Paralegal certification preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a commercial litigation paralegal. Experience with complex commercial or business litigation is preferred.

Salary: $90,000-$95,000/yr.
