In 2013, we completed our largest solar project yet by installing a 450-kilowatt photovoltaic system of nearly 1,900 panels. The amount of energy produced annually by this solar array could power nearly 52 average-sized homes, or approximately 5,000 lights bulbs for an entire year. With sustainability and safety always top of mind, our Atlanta factory proudly and passionately produces 460,000 tons a year of our dry pet food brands, including Alpo, Beneful, Cat Chow, Dog Chow, Fit & Trim, Friskies, Nestl Purina ONE and Pro Plan. This plant location is just along the southern crescent of Metro Atlanta
an area that nearly 5 million residents and over 340 of our associates can call home. Atlanta is considered the major commercial and financial center of the Southeast and, if this beautiful city were a country, it would be the 28th largest economy in the world.As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be a key member of the warehouse team working to keep activities running efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for managing the daily warehouse shipping schedule by directing the activities for loading and shipping products, maintaining warehouse records, and performing job assignments to ensure that we meet our warehouse and customer satisfaction goals.**This position is for an overnight shift and will be required to work every other weekend**Perform all clerical duties directly related to warehouse activityCheck drivers in and out, while aiding loaders in locating productPrepare and maintain productivity reports, shipping documents, pick/load slips and various other shipping office paperworkCoordinate movement of trailersAssist with the transfer of products between factory and outside storagePrioritize and manage workload utilizing various computer programs and toolsRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent2+ years' experience in a warehouse coordination, logistics, military or related experience in fast
paced environment.Must be able to work 2nd shift, (3pm-11pm) Monday- Friday and every other Saturday and SundayThe approximate pay range for this position is $47,749 to $59,689. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
