If you re excited about this role but your past experience doesn t align perfectly with every qualification in the job posting, we still encourage you to apply and share with us your STORY, your PASSION, and your EXPERTISE You may be just the perfect candidate for this or other roles within our company.From your PASSION to oursThis position is part of a cohesive team, needs someone who can multi-task and is motivatedFrom your EXPERTISE to oursKey responsibilities for this position include:In this role, you ll be working in a very busy lab, have presence on the production floor and your primary function will be to ensure product quality meets Company standards.Perform and document testing of materials and finished products.Perform microbiological analysis of raw materials and finished products.Responsible for hold/release/rejection of finished goods.Perform physical and chemical analysis of raw materials and manufactured products.Verify compliance and alert QA Manager of any deviations from approved product specifications.Perform in plant weight checks, temperature checks, ingredient usage and distribution, finished product appearance, code date verification, pH testing and metal detection verification.Responsible for daily finished product evaluations.Perform sensory evaluation of raw material and finished productsPerform environmental testing.RequirementsMinimum of High School diploma or GEDCommunicate effectively and accurately, both verbally and in writing.Take direction and follow instructions accurately.Work well with peers and supervisors in team process. Word and Excel experience preferred.Conscientious, responsible, reliable.Great attention to detail.Full On the Job Training provided with room for development and growth
