Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
Additional requirements include:

* Two or more years of recent RN experience preferred.

* One year of hospital staff nurse experience required.

* Current American Heart Association BLS certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date.
* Current American Heart Association ACLS certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date.
* Current American Heart Association PALS certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date.
* Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date.
* Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

* Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

* Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

* 33 bed unit
* 5-6 Patient Ratio (Days)
* 6 Nurses and 3 C N A's with the same Ratio for night shift
