The service line is composed of 40 medical practices located across a wide geography spanning 9 counties in Western New York. Practices are located in each of the six PCASI Regions. Practices are a mix of rural, suburban, and inner city populations. Each geography/location carries with it unique factors that are considered when delivering care. Unique populations include the underserved, refugees, homeless, Spanish speaking, and Mennonite to name a few.As a Licensed Practical Nurse in Family Medicine, you are key in the success of operations and compassionate patient care every day.STATUS:  Full timeDEPARTMENT: Batavia Primary CareSCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, DaysATTRIBUTESCompassionate, warm and patient focusedCritical thinking skills, decisive judgmentExceptional documentation skills and professional behaviorRESPONSIBILITIESPatient Care & Service. Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; perform various treatment procedures; provide physical, educational and emotional support to patients, friends and families; supervise assigned team membersMedication Administration & Reporting. Administer medication and give/receive relevant reports, both written and verbal from/to appropriate staff as per departmental protocolsEDUCATION:LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE:$23.75 - $29.75CITY:BataviaPOSTAL CODE:14020The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
