Counts pieces and/or pallets against the Bill of Lading.Receives inbound material and ships outgoing materials. Verifies counts against packing list and Purchase orders.Inspects parts, materials, equipment and supplies received to assure compliance with purchase order & engineered specifications; identifies and reports shortages, damages or other discrepancies.Processes returns; coordinate the disposition of pending materials with Inventory Control and accounting teams.Move inventory, put away stock, perform cycle counts and process inventory transactions when necessary.Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.Participate in the preparation and counting of physical inventoryPerform daily warehouse maintenance and cleaning. What we look for:High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to drive fork trucks and secures the proper certification. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and written. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently. Experience with Personal Computers, including MS/Windows, MS/Excel, and/or MS Word.JCI employees are valued members of the Johnson Controls family.
