The Judge Group is seeking an Electrical Technician for a manufacturing company in the Lumberton, NC Area.Title Electrical TechnicianLocation: Lumberton, NCPay Range: $35/hr - $40/hr Shift: 2nd or 3rdOverview: The Electrical Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of electrical, automation, and robotic systems within the production facility. This role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols and reinforces Safety as a Core Value. The technician ensures compliance with all policies, procedures, and activities related to Food Safety & Quality to minimize product and process variability.Responsibilities:•\tSafety and Compliance:o\tAdhere to safe work practices and complete monthly safety audits/observations.o\tFollow GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure product quality.o\tReport any conditions or practices that may affect food safety, food quality, and personnel safety.o\tEnsure regulatory compliance at all times.•\tTechnical Duties:o\tInterpret electrical schematics and user manuals.o\tTroubleshoot automation/robotics software and hardware issues, including PLCs and touchscreens.o\tUse advanced network troubleshooting to diagnose control networking issues.o\tCollaborate with IT to troubleshoot and maintain servers.o\tCreate user manuals and training documentation; train technicians as needed.o\tIdentify and facilitate process and automation improvements.o\tAssist and consult with management/engineering on projects.o\tProvide support and leadership to maintenance technicians.o\tManage, backup, and organize all electrical/automation-related documentation.Qualifications:•\tEducation and Experience:o\tTwo-year certificate from a college or technical school and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.o\tExperience with mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics is helpful.•\tSkills and Abilities:o\tAbility to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as electrical schematics, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and procedure manuals in English.o\tAbility to write routine reports, procedural manuals, and correspondence in English.o\tEffective presentation skills for one-on-one and group situations.o\tExperience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell automation is required.o\tAbility to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.o\tStrong interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships and a team-oriented environment.o\tSelf-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.o\tEffective communication of issues and project status with management, vendors, peers, and production personnel.o\tTechnical leadership and support for maintenance technicians.o\tProficiency with tools such as Multimeters, PCs, and software for troubleshooting electrical issues.o\tAbility to work with internal and external resources to resolve issues promptly.•\tAdditional Requirements:o\tCommitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.o\tAdherence to all safety policies and procedures.o\tWillingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. \t\t\t \t\t\t
