Getting to Know the Opportunity:

The Business Intelligence & Expense Analytics Student will have the opportunity to work in a corporate environment partnering closely with FP&A expense reporting team which are comprised of information system analysts, cost managers, data analysts, and spend management centers of excellence. Please Note: Work location for this role is FLEXIBLE This position allows 100% remote work from home or allows work to be performed in any of our major office locations with a hybrid schedule.

The Contributions You'll Make:
  • Compile and analyze financial information for the Expense FP&A Team
  • Develop financial visualizations, analysis and provide insights to support strategic initiatives and business decisions through the utilization of Power BI & Excel
  • Assist with various other functions/projects related to financial and management reporting
  • Attend and contribute to meetings/provide administrative assistance
  • Other duties as assigned


Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics or other related fields
  • Microsoft Office Suite intermediate to advanced proficiency, especially Excel/Access, and/or any other data modeling/visualization tools preferred (i.e., Power Query, Power BI, or Tableau)
  • Foundational understanding of how relational databases work and best practices of setting up data models
  • Knowledge of finance, insurance industry, investment fields, insurance products or operations is helpful but not mandatory
  • Quick learner with strong analytical and organizational skills who can work both independently and in a team environment
  • Experience with SQL or Python is a plus

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$20.00/hr-$23.00/hr USD
