  • Annual Patient Volume: 15k pediatric volume connected to 90k visit adult ED
  • Patients per Hour: 1.5-2
  • ED Bed Count: 11 pediatric rooms including one trauma/resuscitation bay
  • Physician Shift Times: 7a-7p; 7p-7a
  • Physician Hours of Coverage: 24 pediatric hours
  • APC Hours of Coverage: 0 in pediatric area
  • Scribe Coverage: 0 in pediatrics
  • EMR (both for patient charting and order entry): EPIC
  • Admitting Orders: Is the ED Physicians responsible for writing the orders? No
  • Trauma Center Designation: Level 1 pediatric and adult

Board and Cert Requirements:

  • Board Requirements: ABP Certified/Eligible within 2 years of program completion PEM boards required
  • Certs: ATLS, PALS
  • Required: Flu, TB/PPD
