As a result, we are looking for a Principal Architect with a passion for designing and building cloud and data solutions and outstanding development and architecture skills. As part of the architecture team, you will be a crucial player, leader, and agent of change as you architect and guide the build and support of a cloud platform, solutions, and data services. You will be highly accountable, assertive, and thrive in an ambiguous environment. This is an opportunity to join us during an exciting time of digital transformation.Key Responsibilities:Spearhead our technology trajectory by conducting progressive research and prototyping cutting-edge technologies.Work on dynamic projects covering several new products and technologies, but focus on architecting, developing and implementing our new cloud applications and data management back end.Evolve and communicate the architecture standards and roadmaps to the teams.Ensure clean design, architectural consistency and support exemplary development practices.Document the designs to foster knowledge sharing across the organization and create agreement on what we're building.Work as part of the global Architecture team to ensure consistency and cross-team collaboration on the design, estimation, and positioning of new features.Provide governance over the development process to ensure non-functional, and architecture standards requirements are satisfied.Provide architectural direction from concrete and abstract concepts, assessing technology options and detailed implementation guidance.Promote best practices for software engineering to ensure solid code and usability consistency across teams.Collaborate and communicate with and support product managers to architect industrial operations, resiliency, business continuity, performance, scale, cost optimization, development efficiency and security.Key Qualifications: The senior technical knowledge. You have expertise in coding with multiple programming languages and deep practical knowledge in design patterns and principles, engineering principles, developing frameworks, modern cloud AWS or Azure architecture and building scalable applications for the cloud.You have the technical experience that comes with designing and developing serverless, data-centric cloud platforms, and architecting solutions in a lean/agile way, including consideration of: Scalability, resilience, partner interface, security (risks and threats, authentication, authorization), data validation, representation and storage, tuning and testing using automated testing patterns and toolsbalancing the need for feature development with architectureYou can build collaborative working relationships and gain the trust of your team, influencing their work to ensure deliverables are met on time.You can understand and contribute to the technical solution from design to the code level.You have strong project management capabilities, including time management, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and balance competing deliverables.The interpersonal skills. You have a commitment to collaboration, the ability to foster working relationships at any level.
