We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a CMA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our clinic setting. The successful candidate will possess strong medical administrative skills and a solid understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and medication administration.

Duties:

- Provide exceptional patient care by assisting with vital signs, patient intake, and discharge processes.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by medical providers.
- Assist with minor procedures and perform phlebotomy as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Operate electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient information.
- Handle urgent care situations with professionalism and a sense of urgency.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective communication and patient care.
- Participate in Level I Trauma Center activities and inpatient care as required.
- Demonstrate a commitment to patient care and adhere to clinic policies and procedures.

Requirements:

- Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and medication administration.
- Experience working in a clinic setting or urgent care environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to lift and move patients as necessary.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
