SHIPPING SUPERINTENDENTJBS- SOUDERTONOperations Management, Souderton, Pennsylvania.BASIC RESPONSIBILITIESOperate within USDA/HACCP guidelines.Promote a safe environment following state, federal, and company safety standards.Produce products that meet or exceed the customers' (internal and external) requirements and provide excellent customer service.Provide a positive people-oriented work environment, designed to build morale.Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.Managing all aspects of operations to ensure a safe working environment. Taking immediate action to eliminate improper practices or hazardous conditions.  Required skills:Team-oriented, Communication skills & People skillsBilingual is important, but not mandatory.Must be able to read, write, and speak EnglishMust have supervision experience in shipping and inventory control.Good interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.Computer skills are necessary with experience with Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).SAP experience a plus.Must have 2-3 years of packinghouse experience Working Conditions:Working in cold temperaturePhysical demands of this position may include a great deal of walking and stair climbing.Environment consists of slick floors and loud noise.Employee will typically work 50-55 hours per week M-F with some Saturday work if necessary.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid Time off: sick leave, vacation and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): eligible after the 1st day of employmentThis position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive programEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma/GED;Bachelor's Degree preferred Relocation is acceptedBe Extraordinary.
