Commercial Roofing Service Manager

We are actively seeking a Commercial Roofing Service Manager responsible for planning, controlling, profitability, and tracking of multiple concurrent commercial roof service projects from beginning to completion. We are looking for an Experienced and Team Oriented roofing professional to manage the service division’s daily operations, while focusing on customer service, projects completion on time and within budget.

Commercial Roof Service Manager Duties: (Including but not limited to)


  • Develop and use advanced planning skills for establishing maximum productivity of manpower materials and equipment
  • Ensure jobs start on time customer expectations are met or exceeded and hours and materials are properly expended
  • Recruit train mentor and retain a dependable and knowledgeable maintenance workforce
  • Learn and teach best practices for roofing service inspection and roof system maintenance by fully participating in on-the-job training as well as periodic manufacturer training
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures be an example and support the company safety goals and objectives
  • Manage department finances including budgets and project invoicing
  • Review and analyze budget reports and prepares and develops budget modifications and recommendations
  • Strengthen customer relationships and customer development
  • Prospect and sales to new and existing clients of additional services such a preventive maintenance programs

Commercial Roof Service Manager Skills/Qualifications:


  • Understanding of commercial/industrial roofing system design and installation code compliance and manufacturers requirements for warranty.
  • Field experience in commercial roofs or similar industry is preferred.
  • Experience managing a department.
  • Ability to budget measure organize and motivate personnel.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety regulations for roofing and OSHA requirements.
  • Proven customer service and sales experience.
  • Strong leadership organization and communication (both written and verbal) abilities.
  • Willing to be trained and use company software (Experience with FCS is a plus).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel Word Outlook).
