You will coordinate and ensure factory food safety programs are in place and comply with guidelines. In this role, you will oversee all sanitation standards and pest activity throughout the factory. You will also guide trainings and knowledge through all of the employees in the factory to ensure food safety practices.Monitor pest activity, identify and implement corrective actions, and plan pest control methods and heat treatments.Provide leadership and direction for our sanitary processes in the factory by working directly with the engineering and maintenance departments on Sanitary Design of equipment and modifications prior and during installation.Provide direction, coaching, and performance reviews of Product Safety department employees and contractors.Communicate with plant and department managers regarding status and needs of the product safety area.Conduct coaching and performance reviews of the Product Safety department employees.Ensure all food safety programs in place at the factory comply with Regulatory, Nestle Purina, and ISO 22000 guidelines.Ensure that any Foreign Material Prevention and Detection devices are inspected and controlled per corporate Foreign Material Control Guidelines.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent1+ years experience in pest management, manufacturing, industrial, military, or related fieldOtherB.S. in Food Science, Entomology, or Animal Science preferred1+ years of supervisory experienceThe approximate pay range for this position is $67,000 to $97,000.
