  The production employee will perform the finished food product's basic assembly and process work. Persons in this classification will perform a variety of tasks on a variety of assembly lines to achieve a finished food product.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform one or more functions on the assembly lines including but not limited to; washing, peeling, cutting, weighing, measuring, and pouring ingredients in the container, placing lids, labeling, boxing, unboxing, stacking, wrapping, or other functions to accomplish tasks. Receive washed products and take them to department lines for processing.  Employees must follow company policies. Follow company GMPs for safe food handling. Other duties as assigned by plant management.

The employee is frequently required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move between 10 and 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must wear personal protective equipment (hair net, cutting gloves, work sleeves, smock, and non-slip water-resistant footwear).  Work in the cold and wet working environment (approx. 34 degrees)
warm clothing is advised (heavy socks, pants, jacket, head covering, etc.). Physical hazards of working in and about moving machinery.
