What You'll Do

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for the inventory of components, machines, and attachments based on the production plan. The engineer requests the components required for production from HQ or suppliers based on time of need and stock level, periodically checks the inventory of components and attachments, and correct differences between system and real stock.

  • Manage material transit time with logistic vendors
  • Manage inventory for long aging /surplus/scrap
  • Conduct cycle count and back-ship
  • Improve inbound transportation cost
  • Request CKD components to HQ or PDC etc.
  • Update stock of components and attachments (Major: daily, minor: monthly or quarter)
  • Conduct prevention of component and attachment shortage.
  • Conduct compensation with vendor during transportation
  • Update MRP (Material Requirement Planning)
  • Create / Update safety stock and minimum order volume

Requirements:

What You'll Need to be Successful

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-5 years of manufacturing experience, packaging, or supply chain and/or operations
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes.
  • Basic knowledge of heavy equipment
  • Experience in SAP, transactions related to control cycles and material information, tracking, and movement
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using Excel, Access, Word, and Power Point
