Completes documentation of preventive maintenance and work orders on a daily basis. Uses verbal and written feedback to keep peers and team members informed of progress and problems.Complies with safety policies and regulations and ensures safety practices for patients, staff, and visitors and attends mandatory safety in-services and safety competence assessments. Complies with regulatory, accreditation, hospital and department policies and procedures.Provides support during various codes and/or emergencies.Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATIONHigh School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experienceEXPERIENCETwo years' experience required in Missouri and IllinoisPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSConstant standing and walking.Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.Frequent reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry.Frequent use of vision for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
