Apply TodayJob Summary and QualificationsPosition summary: The Cat Scan Tech produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas in accordance with established practices and procedures.Effective communicator, mentally alert, dependable, reliable, conscientious, tactful, flexible, and cooperativePossesses integrity, uses good judgment and shows initiative Has the ability to function well while multi-tasking and making decisions in stressful situations Demonstrates commitment, safety, honesty, integrity and compassionAbility to work and communicate with all patients, family members, physicians and employeesMust maintain regular attendance and punctualityWorks with minimal supervision, displaying good judgment, self-motivation, initiative, and organization skillsAbility to work well and communicate with all staffDemonstrates behaviors that are relative to the HCA Mission and Values Statement: “We act with absolute honesty, integrity and fairness in the way we conduct our business and the way we live our lives.”What qualifications you will needGraduate of an accredited program for Radiographers Currently licensed through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification in CT or must obtain advanced certification through ARRT within 12 months of hire date.Current state licensure or permit to practice medical imaginingCustomer service abilities including effective listening skillsCritical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environmentCertification: BLS and ARRT must be maintained throughout employment with Terre Haute Regional HospitalTerre Haute Regional Hospital has provided quality healthcare services since 1882.
