Correctional Medicine Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatrist to join our team as a Clinical Director of Mental Health Services. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to provide administrative and clinical leadership for our comprehensive mental health care program.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Leadership: Provide overall direction and leadership for the provision of mental health services in our facilities.
- Clinical Coordination: Manage the operation of the mental health program, including the coordination of services and the supervision of mental health staff.
- Direct Patient Care: Provide direct patient care and associated clinical duties, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Program Development: Develop and implement treatment and therapeutic programs for inmates/residents, including individual, group, and family counseling.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate and timely reports and records, including statistical reports and progress notes.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and facility staff to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective communication with inmates/residents and their families.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited college or university with an advanced degree in psychology or a related clinical area and appropriate certification or license.
- Experience: Five years of clinical experience, including two years in a comparable position.
- Skills: Strong leadership and administrative skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
