As Director of Programs you will be driving our strategic business operations for all programmatic aspects of your assigned projects. This is a high visibility position in the Mission Solutions and Technology Business Area, reporting to the Vice President of the Mission Solutions and Operations Business Unit. You will work directly with executive leadership and business development for capture opportunities that help fulfill portfolio strategies. You will have Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities for a program portfolio that will include a product line (or subset) of customer deliverables. Essential areas of responsibility include developing and cultivating lasting customer relationships; overseeing the management of cost, schedule and technical performance of all assigned projects to meet customer requirements; working with the Business Development and Technology teams to align new pursuits and internal development with customer requirements and product line growth objectives; and ensuring overall product line performance objectives are achieved. You will provide leadership, guidance, and oversight in all phases of business resource planning and tracking in coordination with other corporate stakeholders. In this role you will build and lead an exceptional team to innovate, invent, implement, and deploy complex solutions in a mission-critical environment. You'll oversee process and procedure for assessing and mitigating program risk and ensure program issues and problems are identified, tracked, and resolved. You'll be responsible for project/program status updates, proposal review and approval, and negotiations with project/program stakeholders to ensure enterprise initiatives meet cost and schedule constraints. Further, you will be responsible for planning, organizing and implementing large, complex, strategic programs that are typically highly visible initiatives with significant impact on business or product viability and ranging across multiple disciplines, businesses, and/or product offerings. You will be responsible for advancing the organizational strategic and business objectives through the alignment and integration of all programs and projects under your purview, and the coordinated management of all Program Managers.
