This individual, monitors processes, systems, tools, and equipment to ensure safe practices at all times. Key ResponsibilitiesTypical EducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Relevant Experience5+ years related experience and/or training
Required CertificationsOther InformationKnowledge of the tools and operating equipment used in plant; Mechanical aptitude.Skills:May be required to operate a pay loader and/or other motorized equipment as needed; Abilities: Ability to identify and understand chemical processes and intermediate math skills preferred. Ability to communicate technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing. Must have the ability to approach others in a tactful manner, react well under pressure, and be accurate and thorough.May be required to work overtime, 12-hour shifts, weekends, holidays, and/or varying shifts.Physical Requirements: This job requires the ability to work rotating shifts in excess of eight hours per day to include weekends and off-duty hours to reach operational goals and compliance requirements in a plant that operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. This individual must have the ability to operate a front-end loader, forklift, and/or other motorized equipment. Job duties may require the ability to climb stairs, climb ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, grip, push, pull, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds.
