JOB DESCRIPTION:Medical Center in Alaska is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join the team. PCI experience is a must. Competitive recruitment package included. About position:Peripherals, devices, and TEE helpful but not requiredActive wound care clinic if interested in PAD and vein diseaseLight call with excellent hospitalist and intensivist supportStrong mid-level support and supportive administrationWill participate in expanding cath lab program Coronary CTA program coming in collegial venture with radiologyExcellent cath lab and echo staffBusy monthly outreach clinic at nearby location HOSPITAL:This hospital opened in January 2006, replacing the original that opened its doors in the 1930s. The new hospital is a state-of-the-art acute care hospital with an ICU, Emergency Department, birthing center, cardiac cath lab, well-equipped and fully digital OR with 4 rooms including daVinci and Hana modalities, an outpatient surgery center, and three outpatient centers. The medical center has about 100 physicians on active medical staff and a total medical staff of almost 200 physicians. We have a robust Hospitalist and an Intensivist program. COMMUNITY: The area is a suburban community and is the fastest growing one in the state.
