ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN (E&I TECH)Overview:WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to join our team at our Baltimore, MD facility. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems across our plant. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility, directly supporting our commitment to sustainable waste management and renewable energy production.Key Responsibilities:Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Execute preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibration on electrical and instrumentation systems to maintain optimal operation and minimize downtime.Technical Expertise:Utilize technical documentation, including P&IDs, loop sheets, motor elementaries, and PLC/DCS control logic, to accurately diagnose and repair equipment with minimal supervision.Safety & Compliance:Strictly adhere to Federal, State, and Company regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures, while upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental practices.Operational Support:Provide emergency repair support during off-hours, travel to other company facilities as needed, and take on additional responsibilities as assigned.Continuous Improvement:Proactively identify opportunities for operational improvements and contribute to the training and development of junior technicians.Equipment Operation:Operate industrial forklifts, manlifts, skid steers, and other mobile equipment as required to support plant operations.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent.A minimum of 6 years of experience in Industrial or Power Industry Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance, or 2 years as a 2nd Class E&I Technician.Possess all required licenses and certifications in accordance with State, Environmental, and Federal regulations.Strong understanding of steam plant systems and turbine generator controls.Why Join WIN Waste Innovations?At WIN Waste Innovations, we are a leader in waste management, dedicated to providing essential solutions that support environmental sustainability.
