BAE Systems Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area is seeking a Principal Design Program Quality Engineer in the Small Form Factor Solutions (SFFS) Product Line.

In this job, you will:
  • Lead Design and Development Program Quality Engineering efforts for Large Development Program
  • Quality Stakeholder for Lifecycle Management, Configuration Management, Design Reviews
  • Provide Technical and Quality expertise to cross-functional Development and Transition to Production Teams.
  • Interface with Program Management Office, DCMAS, and Customer stakeholders.
  • Participating, supporting, and leading aspects of Qualification efforts.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Must be able to obtain SAP / SAR clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of experience
  • Self-starter must be able to perform job duties in high-paced environment with limited supervision.
  • Hardware Design experience in Defense (or relevant) Industry
  • Configuration Management and Configuration Control experience
  • Understands the process for Basis of Estimates and Proposals
  • Experience in the following:
    • EMI: Electromagnetic Interference
    • EQT: Environmental Qualification Test
    • DVT: Design Verification Test
    • FQT: Functional Qualification Test
    • IV&V: Integration, Verification & Validation
    • EMI, EQT, DVT, FQT, IV&V experience
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline and 6+ years of experience is required
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Prior Design Quality Assurance Engineering experience
  • Experience working on DoD Development Programs
  • Lean Six Sigma tools: Green Belt / Black Belt Certifications
  • Transition to Production experience
  • Risk and Opportunity (R&O) experience
  • Lifecycle Management (LCM) experience
  • QAVMI Sell Off Experience
  • PPV-FAI AS9102 Experience
  • AS9145 Experience
  • Agile Methodology experience


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
