Position Overview: SOS Group is seeking an experienced diligent and dedicated Groundskeepers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining outdoor spaces, ensuring the safety and aesthetic appeal of our school grounds. The Groundskeeper will be responsible for performing a variety of landscaping and maintenance tasks to preserve the cleanliness, functionality, and attractiveness of our school campuses. *Experience is required*

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns, as well as pruning trees and shrubs.

  • Maintain flower beds and planters by planting, watering, weeding, and applying fertilizers and pesticides as needed.

  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.

  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including picking up litter and debris.

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on groundskeeping equipment and tools.

  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment and performing tasks.

  • Respond promptly to requests and emergencies related to grounds maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred.

  • Knowledge of horticulture practices, equipment operation, and safety protocols.

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
