This employee monitors and documents all chemical levels in a timely manner as per the company s policy.Chiller Operator will fill bird chillers with chilled water and verify the correct level is maintained throughout the whole bird chill process.Chiller Operator will prime, adjust, and maintain chemical pumps for the bird chillers.Chiller Operator will take water samples at the bird chillers to verify the water chemistry is within acceptable limits.Chiller Operator will document all chemical levels per daily schedule and complete all required paperwork with attention to detail.Adheres to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) product standards and guidelines.Chiller Operator will be responsible for starting and stopping of the chillers.Chiller Operator will be responsible for cleaning overflow box screens.Chiller Operator will be responsible for monitoring all aspects of the chiller rooms.SSOP s and SPS s monitoring.Performs other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:The qualified applicant shall possess the following.Ability to work with minimum supervision.Working knowledge of Chiller Chemicals (Micro-Tox) Peracetic Acid & (Nutra-Chill) Caustic.Able to work all scheduled hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.Ability to speak, read and write English.Basic math skills: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and DivisionAble to obtain Telehandler, Forklift, Scissor Lift, & Boom Certification required for this position.Butterball, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to the fair and impartial treatment of all employees and applicants for employment without regard to gender, age, race, religion, color, national origin, physical or mental disability, military/veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, genetic information, marital status, parental status, pregnancy, or any other status protectedby law.The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of what is required of personnel so classified.
