Analyst, Sourcing for a 12 month + contract.Senior Buyer/PlannerLocation: Hybrid - Office is in Sandy Springs, GA. Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pmThe Senior Buyer/Planner will manage the supply and production planning process, ensuring timely procurement and efficient supply chain management. Responsibilities include issuing purchase orders (POs), managing procurement activities, and maintaining a steady supply of finished goods and materials. This role will involve daily interaction with suppliers and internal teams to align procurement needs, address product availability issues, and conduct weekly planning reviews. The Senior Buyer/Planner will adjust procurement requirements and inventory levels as needed and develops and manages supply plans to align with production schedules and demand forecasts.Who we want: • Dedicated achievers. People who build and leverage cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas, information, use cases, and industry analyses to develop best practices.What you will do: • Perform purchasing activities and managing supplier relationships to secure the necessary quantities of goods and materials. • Coordinate with supply planning, production scheduling, quality assurance, and sourcing teams to align procurement and supply strategies. • Oversee end-to-end supply planning and management from both internal and external vendors. • Collaborate with suppliers, commercial teams, and Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance to ensure an effective supply process. • Assess the impact of supply constraints and adjust to meet customer expectations while minimizing cash outflow and mitigating risks related to excess or obsolete inventory. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Supply Plan Attainment, Safety Stock Health, Capacity Utilization, Back Order, and Lead Time.What you need: • Bachelor's degree - required • 4+ years of supply chain experience - required • Experience in medical device - preferred
