Responsibilities include:Load powdered metal green parts onto sintering furnaces from the compacting pressesWork to the requirement of the powdered metal plant quality systemInspect parts to the specific quality plan using various shop inspection equipmentEnsure gauging is calibrated within specified time frameTrain and develop production associates in the use of quality plansCommunicate to Supervisor/Shift Lead on recommended process or safety improvementsWork with Supervisor/Shift Lead on recommendations for deployment of resourcesAlert Supervisor/Shift Lead when deviant materials are found and inspect identified parts to the specific quality planResponsible for stopping press if part does not meet the specific quality planResponsible for maintaining 5S in compaction areaOther duties as assignedThe Person:You love to learn, grow, and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions.
