That means, they pay attention to goals, celebrate milestones and highly encourage learning opportunities.JOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for screening orders, research, accurately and efficiently reading, interpreting, and entering prescriptions into the computer system in a timely fashion, and/ or thinking through and solving escalated prescription issues. Pharmacy Technicians will direct questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification and enter incomplete prescription information once clarification has been obtained and complete appropriate described patient letter. Through your skills and knowledge, you will offer solutions needed to help simplify the customer health care experience. Perform other functions as needed.JOB QUALIFICATIONS6 months or more of experience as Pharmacy Technician
Working knowledge of Medical Terminology
1+ years of Microsoft Office software
Licensed Pharmacy Technician
High School Diploma or GED ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to sit for 7-10 hours per day and work extended hours as needed. Some bending, stretching or reaching and the ability to lift 25lbs are required. Ability to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Requires ability to perform data entry functions for 95% of the scheduled work shift and perform duties in a fast-paced environment with high demands and tight deadlines.
