Job Description:
Our Distribution Center in La Crosse, WI is actively seeking to fill TWO positions within our maintenance department. Positions include a Maintenance Mechanic and a Building Maintenance Technician.
Shift Details - Monday -Thursday 9:00 am - 6:00 PM, Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm
Building Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance or repair to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
- Inspect, operate, or test machinery, equipment, or systems to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
- Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
- Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
- Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
Maintenance Mechanic Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a fleet of Crown power industrial trucks.
- Perform routine maintenance on all lift trucks and warehouse equipment.
- Parts Replacement: Identify, order, and replace faulty components or parts.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service history in our CMMS.
- Assist building maintenance with building repairs, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, overhead doors, racking, and equipment, when needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while performing maintenance and repairs, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

What you need to succeed:

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours.
Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Able to use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
Good computer skills for utilizing PM Software system.
Maintenance experience within a manufacturing/ distribution environment.
