What You Will Enjoy Doing The IT Systems Administrator is primarily responsible for provisioning, maintaining and operating computer systems, software, and networks. Duties include installing, supporting, and maintaining software, servers, system backups, client pc's, mobile devices, and other network connected devices. The IT Systems Administrator is the first point of contact for any IT related questions/issues and provides hands on technical support and training. Main Responsibilities:
Provides PC hardware and software support with majority focus on the Microsoft Windows platform.
Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks.
Develops, maintains and supports all systems, applications, security, and network configurations with regular system maintenance to address issues promptly and proactively.
Install and connect network devices including servers to maintain local area network and server systems
Troubleshoots network performance issues including Wi-Fi infrastructure.
Recommends and installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems.
Implements, maintains and monitors system backups, data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
Configures and maintains account master data information in Active Directory.
Incident handling via ServiceNow management, execution, and escalation when necessary to appropriate teams.
Provides technical support via phone, emails, and remote tools and onsite visits to end-users with timely resolution.
Supports ALPLA's proprietary systems.
Maintains accurate and up to date list of IT assets.
Develops and maintains IT vendor and partner relationships.
Develops, maintains, and provides guidance and training to end users.
Coordinate with cross functional IT Teams and organizational units to provide support and successful project execution.
