Lead, coach, and train employees toward Lean manufacturing concepts and foster an environment for an empowered, high-performance plant.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCEBachelor s Degree in Business Management, Food Science, Engineering, Science, or similar academic disciplines.5-10 years of experience in a Plant Management position and 5-10 years in a supervisory or management role with progressively more responsible positions.Required* Experience specifically in food manufacturing, with a strong preference for baking.Knowledge of Food Safety and Safety Programs/Systems, including HAACP, GMPs, sanitation, and plant maintenance. Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing is highly desirable.Demonstrated success in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.Experience in a high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment, with a preference for food (baking) process experience.Experience with P&L responsibility and a working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.Highly motivated, hands-on, results driven, forward thinking professional who can thrive in a team-oriented environmentCollaborate across business functions to achieve site and business objectives.Ability to instill a positive team environment.
